Overview

Hohe Wand East is a flatland site in the Austrian Alps with a recorded launch elevation of 920 m. It works best in easterly, south-easterly and southerly winds, and can also work in north-easterly winds. Pilots fly it for ridge soaring and thermal, using foot launch. It is recorded as suitable for cross-country flights.
