Corton Denham is a hill site in Dorset / Wiltshire with a recorded launch elevation of 169 m. It works best in south-westerly winds, and can also work in westerly winds. Pilots fly it for ridge soaring and thermal, using foot launch.

  • General Site Info This is one of our least used sites due perhaps to being on the fringe of Wessex territory. It is also directly beneath the approach path of the main runway at RNAS Yeovilton, hence no mid week flying. Source: ParaglidingEarth
